The pet play lifestyle is full of so many voices that make it unique and vibrant. To showcase this, every month we will be shining the spotlight on a particular human animal or Handler in our community. Let's hear what makes every pet player special!
This month, we loved getting to know a wonderful pet player in our local Los Angeles community who identifies as an alley cat, cow, pup, and bunny - wow! We know you'll have a great time learning about them, too. Introducing...
MINTY!
Please introduce yourself and how you identify in pet play.
Hey there, my name is Minty the Kitty (she/they). I also identify as a wild alley cat, cow, pup, and bunny.
How did you discover your pet play identity?
I discovered my pet play identity while being in the kink community for a few years. I took a long break but eventually dived back and got interested in going into an age play kink space. I like to think of myself as a middle/teen because I still love all the cute fun things in life. I had this friend who always wore ears and tails, she looked very cute and I got really curious. So I dived in and got my first set of cat ears and tail in mint from PrittenPaws. After my first set, I ended up with 20+ ears! I've been addicted to pet play and finding out my identity ever since. I explored more into the kink and noticed I really loved getting head pats. Since then, I've been loving to learn more about my pet play identity.
What are your favorite activities as a pet?
Some of my favorite activities as a pet is just lounging around on the couch or bed getting head pats and kneading whatever I can in site. I love afternoon naps and just looking for more attention where I can get it.
What are your favorite treats and toys?
My favorite treats are tuna salad on crackers and my favorite toys are the feathery things that I can try to catch along with a red laser that I can follow around.
What goals in pet play do you have for the coming years?
In the coming years, I’m hoping that I can find myself a handler/owner that’ll train me to do tricks in possibly a circus role-play or become someone's emotional support pet. I want to be there for someone to help them when they’re in need. I love that we have such a big community here in SoCal.
What do you love most about pet play?
It’s been great getting to meet and make new friends with other pets. I love how welcoming everyone is and how much support there is in the community that it is okay to be what we want. I love learning about new things that could possibly happen in the future. I’m so glad I met this community because if it weren’t for this community, I don’t know what I’d know now of my pet play identity.
